Photography by Tiago Almança
A fanzine made with the experience and the pictures taken by Tiago Almança when he visited Hong Kong in 2018. Two years later we decided to create an ephemeral and free exhibition of these images, sticking them as a poster in some places from Barcelona that might recall the places of Hong Kong. The aim was to offer at least a second of connection between the person that may take a look at the poster and the person miles away in Hong Kong. An instant journey without moving. After that, we wanted to collect all the experience in this cool fanzine.
Besides, we created a fashion collection –Hong Kong in Barcelona collection– based on the gathering and mixing of second-hand clothes. It is based on the aesthetics of China, it’s an ode to Anime and it also criticizes cultural appropriation.
